Can't see text when creating a memory

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S10. When I create a new memory, I see a blank white box. No cursor appears, and text I enter doesn't appear. It looks as if nothing is happening. When I hit Save, it turns out that the text is actually there, but it can't be seen while I'm entering it.
